Barry’s third season transformed the complete tone of the show. What was just dark humor is now blended with existential crises, depression, trauma, and more. The fascinating part about all this is that Barry finds humor even in these situations.

If there’s any show that has done superhero satire well besides The Boys, it’s Peacemaker. James Gunn took such a peculiar character and created an even more peculiar show around him. As the awkward superhero going through an existential crisis, John Cena is as funny as he gets.
While the story seemed trivial and the action sequences rushed and unauthentic, the overall show was a delight. It makes up for an entertaining watch and acts as a palette cleanser if you’ve watched too many intense shows or films.
5. Severance
Severance is one of the few shows that came out this year that threw us off-guard. However, every episode was a revelation that took us deeper into the world being built.
It was one of the very few shows where we had no clue what was happening but still were captivated by the events. Unfortunately, season 1’s ending left us with more questions than answers, and I’m glad the show has been renewed for a second season.

Black Bird is a mini-series based on a true story. The true-crime genre show is slightly different from your usual content about serial killers and murderers. Instead, it is about a drug dealer trying to get a confession from a fellow prisoner in exchange for freedom.
The fellow prisoner is said to have sexually assaulted and killed over 15 teenage girls, but the police can’t connect him directly to those cases. As a result, they rope in a drug dealer and offer him the deal.
It is an intriguing show that is very well made. The fact that it is based on a true story will send chills down your spine. But it is all worth it.
7. Tokyo Vice
Tokyo Vice is the most underrated show to have come out this year. Even this show is based on a true story about an American journalist working in Japan. How he comes across the Yakuza and unravels their story is the tale of the show.
Season 1 ended on a jaw-dropping cliffhanger, and the show is returning with season 2. So, if you haven’t watched this crime drama, you should right away and gear up for what’s to come.
