Today we’d like you to meet a talented artist, Maria Scrivan. Maria is a New York Times bestselling author and award-winning syndicated cartoonist. And to top it off, Scrivan has also released great novel series,“Nat Enough” and “Forget Me Nat” over the past two years, with “Absolutely Nat” coming out this September. However, today, we’d like to focus on Maria’s comics.
Maria currently works on a laugh-out-loud comic, Half Full, which is syndicated by Andrews McMeel Syndication and appears daily in newspapers nationwide, including the LA Times and on the GoComics website. The talented cartoonist makes comics that look at the funny side of technology, animals, pop culture, social media, and much more.
Bored Panda reached out to Maria to find a little bit more about her inspiration:
“I’ve loved writing and drawing since childhood, and never wanted to stop. My inspiration comes from wandering around and observing, being endlessly curious, and wondering what my dog would say to me if he could talk. “
