Four months after the news of their pregnancy was revealed, Rihanna gave birth to her first child with A$AP Rocky on May 13, 2022. However, the baby's name has been kept secret since then. As stated by the birth certificate exclusively procured by Daily Mail, Rihanna named her almost one-year-old son after the leader of Wu-Tang Clan, RZA Athelston Mayers. The child is likely to be named after rapper and producer RZA, who is also the leader of Wu-Tang Clan and he shares his middle name with his dad.
After giving birth to the boy, Rihanna, and A$AP Rocky never gave a glimpse of their first child for several months until the Fenty Beauty founder posted a video of the baby boy on Instagram. Earlier, Rihanna’s father Ronald Fenty likewise revealed that the couple has gone through a few names for the son. However, he cannot reveal that name "She’ll have my head if I tell you." as Ron quipped.
Rocky’s family has a culture of naming children after rappers. Rocky’s real name is Rakim Athelston Mayers, which was named after the legendary rapper and Eric B. collaborator.
