In Texas, United States - a dark horse has emerged in the race to the White House, and this could shake things up a bit. Or not! Literally Anybody Else, the unlikely candidate who is bent on shaking the core two party system, has launched a presidential campaign on social media. He claims he is in the race to fix the issues affecting the United States and do what other past leaders have failed to do.
A New American Hero?
The 35 year old seventh grade math teacher, Literally Anybody Else, has done what most people would literally not do. He recently let go of his old identity and took on a new persona so he can become America’s latest hero. Now this seems vague, but this Army Veteran decided that he has had enough of the status quo, and wanted to fix things by himself. To do this, he wasn’t going to wear a mask and fight crime at night like the shady Gotham superhero, but instead he was going to run for presidency. Now that sounds ludicrous, but hey! It’s the USA, and sometimes, you never can tell.
Literally Anybody Else believes the two candidates on the ballot weren’t fit to get the job done. And this isn’t a recent feeling. According to Else, the two party system has put him off since 2016, a situation which made him vote for Libertarian, Gary Johnson, and Trump in 2020. But with this year’s polls getting closer, he feels that there’s no hope for the common people when it comes to making a choice. So, he is here to help the silenced majority feel represented.
The Campaign
Now that he has decided to contest for the highest seat in the land, Literally Anybody Else has taken the next step towards making everything official. He recently filed paperwork with the Federal Elections Commission, to make him a candidate for the polls. He has also launched a campaign website and set social media pages for putting out the word to everyone on his intent.
His declaration of intent has attracted a lot of attention, especially on social media. Interestingly, the reception has been largely positive, with many people showing early support towards his ambition. In fact, there has been an in-pouring of volunteers and well wishers who actually want to ensure that he succeeds. While acknowledging the huge task before him as an independent candidate, Else hopes to inspire the American people on what is possible if they can look outside of partisan interests.
A Dream Too Big?
Although the whole process seems hilarious, Literally Anybody Else seems to have a plan for the people. He has promised to deal with the national debt, a situation which many believe to be setting up the nation for disaster, decisively.
He also promised to fix the issue of costly education and healthcare, and make them affordable if elected. His alternative to the two-party system could make the polls more interesting. With a solid plan and policy for the people, we might as well have a new beacon of hope for Americans. Time will tell!
