Amber Heard has reportedly silently quit Hollywood and moved to Madrid with her daughter Oonagh Paige After a clamorous few years in the public eye.

The news was confirmed by a friend of the actress who explained that Heard is bilingual in Spanish and is happy to raise her daughter far away from boisterous Hollywood noise.

According to Page Six, the 37-year-old actress sold her Yucca Valley Home for $1.1 million in July 2022. Ever since then, she has spent most of her time in Spain. Last October, the now single mother was spotted playing with her daughter, Oonagh, 2, at a kids' park during her Spanish getaway. Days after, she was also photographed flaunting her bikini body on the beaches of Palma de Mallorca.

The mother of one has put up great work keeping her child out of the public eye since welcoming her via surrogate in July 2021.

Heard's alleged relocation to Spain came not up to one year after Heard was deeply reproved and publicized for a defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp.

The one-time lovers met in 2009 on the set of the Bruce Robinson-directed film titled "The Rum Diary." They got engaged in 2014 After two years of dating and married on Depp's private island in 2015.

Heard suddenly filed for divorce just 15 months later, which was finalized in 2016. In 2018, Heard penned her op-ed, which resulted in Depp filing a $50 million defamation lawsuit against her.

Amber's ex-husband, Jhonny Depp, sued her for $50 million in 2019, stating that she lied about him abusing her to obtain more money in their divorce settlement. At the end of the trial in June 2022, the court ordered Heard to pay Depp $10 million as compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages for defaming the actor or in an op-ed piece she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018.

It was said that Heard later asked the judge to cast the verdict and requested a retrial as the judgment wasn't supported by evidence.

Amber Appreciates Her Life In Madrid

Regardless of the chaos of the legal drama, Amber Heard appreciates a new life in Spain. However, Heard may return to Hollywood at any time. Her friend explained, "I don't think she is in any hurry to return to Hollywood or to work, but she will probably come back when the time is right and for the right project."

It's evident that Heard is adapting to her new home, and the move to Spain might be just what she needs to start afresh.
