Selena Gomez recently talked about her single life and how she's enjoying the period during her time with Tony Fly and Symon. The singer is embracing her single life and living her best life.
Selena Gomez recently confirmed that she is currently unattached, but is willing to explore the possibility of finding love again.
When questioned about her dating preferences, the singer revealed that she has certain expectations and values, which she communicates clearly, though some men may mistake them for being high-maintenance.
"I believe I have standards, but right now, we live in a world where boys confuse standards with high-maintenance," she said.
She continued, "I am not embarrassed to say that I need X, Y, and Z for someone to be with me."
Selena is more specific about her man being a kind person. "The requirements are very simple, though. When I talk about requirements, you have to be a cool man,"
She further explains, "Not just being cool in a way that everyone thinks you are cool, you have to be a nice person, you must be able to make me laugh please, also be good to my family and everyone around."
Despite her failed relationship with her athlete's ex-boyfriend, Selena is completely happy with her single life, and she strongly believes that the right person will blend into her life at the right time.
Selena also gave some insights about her new album. "This is my very first album that I will not record any sad songs, she continued just beautiful, happy, and energetic songs. It aligns with the new version of me and how happy I am."
Selena Gomez revealed that her new song would not include anything that would make people cry, and discussed intentionally taking things slow due to increasing dating pressure.
"I believe every single person goes through that phase of "Oh, it would be nice for me to have someone" and I can get that but I'm enjoying who I am and where I am at the moment, so when the right person comes, I can just add them instead of being insecure," She said.
