Robert Cavalli's leopard skin was first sighted on celebrities like Brigitte Bardot and Sophia Loren years later, the beautiful Cavalli print still looked amazing on later generations of stars such as Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian.

Roberto Cavalli was born in Florence, Italy on November 15th, 1940. While in art school, he used to paint on T-shirts and make some money from it.
In a conversation that took place in 2012, Roberto Cavalli talked about an incident where he went to a party without being invited and ended up meeting a designer there. To save himself from embarrassment, he informed the party host, who was also a creative designer, that he printed on leather.
The designer told him to come with samples of his work the following day, so Cavalli hurriedly printed a flower design on supple leather. This pleased the designer so much that it eventually earned Cavalli his first recognition in the fashion world. French luxury brands like Hermes and Pierre Cardin would later come to applaud his genius creativity.
In the 1970s, Robert Cavalli opened his first display shop at Saint Tropez after launching his brand in Paris.
Speaking on the secrets to his genius design prints, Roberto Cavalli disclosed his love for nature in an interview with Vogue in 2011.
"I love things that have a touch of nature," he said.
"I have learned to appreciate that all animals have amazing colored dresses, the fishes, snakes, leopards, and Tigers... I have come to acknowledge that God is the most creative designer, so I decided to copy God," he added.
Robert Cavalli designed for home furnishing brands, shoes, jewelry, and fast fashion brands such as H&M. He also designed tour outfits for celebrities such as Beyonce and many others.
Beyond the perfect designs and well-tailored outfits, Roberto Cavalli's personal life seems crammed with magical fantasies.
He was married to one of the Miss Universe runner-ups, and he also owned a vineyard in Tuscany and a cozy helicopter.
