Popular actress Jenna Ortega went viral within the week after she was captured on camera dancing to Lady Gaga's "Bloody Mary" during an SNL dance show. But fans and critics quickly noticed that she was reluctantly doing that. Even when speaking to the press, the actress mentioned that she wasn't accustomed to the dance. Hence, her reluctant performance. Jenner Ortega SNL (Saturday Night Life) will be coming up on the 11th of March, 2023. During the promotion, she was joined by enthusiastic guys from Please Don't Destroy.
While speaking to the press, Jenna Ortega confirmed her lack of enthusiasm during her SNL promotion on Wednesday. Jenna Ortega said that the dance she was doing was already well-written and that they needed to do something new.
"Honestly, this is really well-written, I just don’t feel like I want to do the Wednesday dance for promo because we’ve seen so much of that already and I think it’s time to do something new," Jenna Ortega said.
The camera immediately went over to the enthusiastic guys of Please Don't Destroy, who became the major attraction to SNL promotion. Those who are fans of Jenna Ortega's movies would have been disappointed by her performance, but she gave her reasons for that. One of the guys from Please Don't Destroy, Ben Marshall, said they didn't want to dance either, but they had to entertain the audience. "We didn’t want to do the dance either," Ben Marshall said. Then Ortega pointed out the trio’s lacy, gothic, all-black ensembles while asking, "Is this from your television program?" The other guy named John Higgins answered Ortega saying, "Wednesday Addams? More like Thursday Jones, I don’t even know what that is."
Jenna Ortega's movies have been popular over the years, which made fans slightly concerned about how she behaved during her SNL promotion. According to many, even though she didn't like the theme and how the promotion was planned, she should have blended in and done her best. Jenna Ortega's SNL promotion is already over, and the next time fans will see her will be at Saturday Night Life, where she will be hosting musical guest 1975.
The Bloody Mary Trend
The Bloody Mary trend, a song performed by Lady Gaga, has gone viral on TikTok, with many celebrities themselves participating in the TikTok trend.
Several celebrities such as SEVENTEEN and Madonna have even participated in the new trend, which has made their fans join in excitement to the new challenge. For months now, the challenge has been going on, and it seems like it will take a few more months for fans to forget about it entirely. Jenna Ortega revealed that after Wednesday's debut on Netflix, she had contracted Covid-19, which made her not participate in the Bloody Mary trend.
