Jenna Ortega, the Popular character of the original Netflix movie series Wednesday has finally responded to matters concerning the circulating rumors about her alleged relationship with Johnny Depp, a colleague who can pass as her father.
The two were Reported to be seen together but the 20-year-old movie star who is filming scenes for the much-awaited Beetlejuice season 2 has shut down the ridiculous rumors as nothing as such is going on between them.
Earlier last year, there was blurry speculation that Johnny Depp would be taking a new role in the anticipated season 2 of the movie after his name appeared on the movie cast Google search list which made fans very excited and heightened their expectations.
The assumption started not long after his slander trial with his ex-wife Amber Heard ended when he was awarded a whopping amount of $ 15 million for damages from the actress.
These shocking rumors started gaining words on the street when a celebrity gossip page known as DeuxMoi, disclosed that they had seen the duo together, precisely suggesting that they might be working together on a new movie.
Taking to their Instagram, Jenny Ortega and Johnny Depp both rebuked the speculations. In response, Jenna stated "This is absurd and I can't even laugh at it, I and Johnny Depp have never met or worked with him in my entire life. I implore that you stop spreading ridiculous lies and leave us both alone."
One of Johnny's pressmen and representative also tendered a statement, stating the rumors were baseless and without evidence critically emphasizing that there was neither a personal nor a professional relationship between the two movie stars.
The official production of the movie was done in London in May, with Jenna portraying the role of Winona Ryder's daughter who goes by the name Lydia Deetz in the movie. Michael Keaton is also scheduled to re-appear as Beetlejuice, with several other movie stars like Justin Theroux and Filipe Cates who would be joining the cast.

Due to the SAG-AFTRA and WAG strike, production for Nollywood movies and Television has been paused. However, the official release date for the movie Beetlejuice 2 is scheduled for the 6th of September, 2024, which marks 36 years after the original Tim Burton movie premiered in 1988.
Aside from her anticipated role in Beetlejuice 2, Jenna is globally recognized for her role as Wednesday Addams in the original Netflix series Wednesday, which was again directed by Tim Burton.
