The Chinese film industry is investing a substantial budget of USD 50 million into the sequel, which is considered significant. Joining Chan in 'A Legend' will be Yixing Zhang from 'Kung Fu Yoga' and Coulee Nazha from 'Police Story 2013.'
The upcoming sequel, produced by Bona Film Group, is making its market debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Based in Taiwan, Distribution Workshop has taken on the responsibility of handling worldwide sales for the film.
