A dad has been left traumatized after discovering that his twin kids of 17 years were not his real children.
According to the husband, he has been married to his wife for 18 years and they have known each other for 20 years. Hee added h never suspected that his wife could have cheated on him.
He said, "My wife, Kelly, and I have known each other for over 20 years and we've been married for 18 years. We have 17-year-old twins, and I just found out that they aren't mine two days ago."
The secret was revealed after the father jokingly bought DNA testing kits for his twins to take just for fun. But things took a frightening turn after the results revealed that his son and daughter both have a different biological father.
The devastated father went on to explain how he had met his wife Kelly at work, and they both decided to start up a business because they're both "very ambitious" people but later fell in love with each other and decided to give it a chance.
He added, "We fell in love, and got married a year after starting our business, ...but we had a massive fight a couple of months into the marriage over the direction we wanted to take our business in, and I left our home."
"She came back to me a couple of weeks later, and we compromised and we've been inseparable ever since. Kelly got pregnant around that time.
"She told me that she got drunk one night and slept with a random guy, during the time we had that fight at the beginning of our marriage, and that she has never cheated on me since but the betrayal has left me disoriented.
We've been together through both thick and thin; our business has been through several hardships but we fought them together. We were always there for each other; we always depend on each other.
I trusted her with all my heart until the DNA results came through making me question everything.
"Kelly has been crying and constantly apologizing.
"I loved her so much. She was a part of me for a long time and I couldn't even imagine doing life without her."
Following the incident, the man moved to a hotel where he now stays in the meantime, so he could process and think about the whole situation.
The bewildered man also added, "I told Kelly I needed time to process the whole incident and I'm currently staying at a hotel. I don't know what to do anymore, the last two days have been a blur.
"I feel like a zombie, I can't feel or process anything. I don't plan to abandon my kids, I might not be their real father, but I’m still their dad and I love them dearly."
There was another similar story of a cheating wife in Uganda, the secret was revealed after the father decided to carry out a DNA test on all his six children.
It all started when he had a misunderstanding with his wife, who accidentally told him that some of the children were not his. Although the wife later apologized and said she only made the statement out of anger, the man still went ahead and conducted secret DNA tests without informing the woman.
