Prince Harry and Megan Have Been Accused of Being Difficult Neighbors

In 2020, after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved into their mansion in Montecito, Calif, their security guards allegedly impolitely disregarded an elderly neighbor.

According to the report, a US Navy veteran named Frank McGinty, who is 88 years old and resides near the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, purportedly approached their residence shortly after they moved in.

McGinity claimed that he wanted to gift them some films he had produced about the area's history.

This alleged encounter was recounted in a chapter of his memoir titled "Get Off Your Street." As per the Montecito Journal, McGinity stated, "I own a large house next to Harry and Meghan's property, and I reside in the guest house while renting out the main house on Airbnb."

He said he visited the gate of Harry and Meghan's residence on the former McCormick estate to deliver films on a CD, but they declined the offer. He further stated that their security personnel denied him entry.

"He claimed that the gatekeeper refused to accept the film, stating that 'they're not interested,' and did not allow him to pass through. Despite his attempts to be friendly and helpful to his neighbors."

He remarked that it was unusual to see them in the area as the place is usually frequented by older people and is known as the elephants' graveyard.

According to McGinity, he resides just a short distance from the Sussexes' residence, perhaps just a couple of tiara throws.

The royal family, who currently reside in California, moved into the property in July 2020 with their son, Prince Archie, who is now 4. Two years later, they welcomed a daughter, Princess Lilibet.

According to reports, the 18,000-square-foot house was purchased for $14,650,000 and boasted rose gardens, century-old olive trees, a tennis court, a tea house, a children's cottage, and a swimming pool.

In July 2020, the couple purchased the house for almost $15 million, and it comes with a guest cottage featuring two bedrooms.

The dwelling is the initial property owned by both individuals, and they were thrilled to establish themselves in this abode and the peaceful neighborhood, which offers ample seclusion. No comment was given by a representative of the pair.

According to a report by the outlet, Markle and Harry, aged 41 and 38, respectively, have been discreetly exploring properties in Malibu to relocate closer to Los Angeles.

An insider revealed that the couple is considering Malibu as a potential living option and have visited the area a few times to explore the surroundings.

Although they have been actively searching for a new home, their final decision is yet to be made, as reported by Express. It is unclear whether they will sell Montecito or simply acquire a new location in Malibu.

Since 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have resided in their $14 million Montecito mansion with nine bedrooms, following their exile from the royal family earlier that year.

The couple's representatives declined to provide a statement, but insiders revealed to the post that they have no plans to relocate from their current residence.
