A 56-year-old Thailand Man Travels 750 Miles On Foot To Propose To Tik Tok Girlfriend On Valentine's Day.

True Love Exists!
Suthep left his hometown of Nakhon Nayok in Northern Thailand on January 14th, 2023 with just one aim; to validate his love and commitment to his girlfriend of 5 years and prove to others that true love does exist and can be found on social media.
The Thailand man decided to embark on a 1,200 kilometers (approximately 750 miles) journey to the Southern Thai province of Satun, his girlfriend's home, on foot to propose to her on valentine's day. The couple had met on Tik Tok 5 years ago and had been in a long-distance relationship ever since.
He had declared the challenge in one of his viral Tik Tok videos, saying that he intends to run for a month and propose to his girlfriend on the last day, which is exactly Valentine's Day.
"I will run and prove whether there is true love in my heart or not. I will run for a month, starting on January 14, and will reach my destination on February 14th – Valentine’s Day,” he said.
Although the 56-year-old declared his intentions to go on foot, he didn't set out alone. His friend, Niwat Thongwithi, is on the journey with him riding a motorcycle to ensure he's looked after until he reaches his final destination.
Santhep Has Lost Weight On The Journey
Santhep admitted in another video documenting the journey that he had started to feel tired on the third day despite starting with so much determination and grit but would continue even though he had lost 17 kilograms of weight already.
Undeterred by the drastic weight loss, Suthep admits that he is happy as this would prove his undying love and commitment to his girlfriend, and he hopes to travel around Thailand with her once they are married.
He admitted to not knowing what his girlfriend, Thanapa Khiaw feels about his decision to reach her on foot in one of his recent videos that had gathered 3 million views.
“I want people who abuse their families and loved ones, as well as those who are unfaithful to their wives, to pay attention to this journey,” Suthep was quoted as saying.
Many are eager to see the outcome of Suthep's journey. Will he achieve his goal and sway the love of his life off her feet forever, or will it end as a disaster?
Recall that In 2019, a man in China also traveled nearly 1,500 miles to surprise his girlfriend, only to find her in the arms of another man.
