We all thought Game of Thrones had its fair share of frustrating characters, but House of Dragons said “hold my beer”. This spin off of the popular GOT series is packed with characters that have annoying traits.
From those scheming and plotting to the holier-than-thou characters, these guys are sure to mess with your patience. And sure, we do think some top picks deserve the rod. You’ll find them just below!
Larys Strong
If the Gossip Girls were looking to add a new member to their team, then they had to look no further than the dishonorable Larys Strong. Now, this is one guy that should have been killed off from the first season if we were being serious but no, the writers had to let this character scheme and plot.
Aside from the fact that he’s conspired to commit patricide and fratricide just to get access to Alicent’s undergarments, this guy is a downright loser. He had the potential to be something better, but he’d rather choose to be annoying. But hey! At least he is better than Littlefinger on the annoying scale.
Queen Alicent Hightower
Yes, we can all agree that Alicent is one of the most annoying characters on House of Dragons, and what makes it even more annoying is her holier-than-thou persona. Like dude! There’s no difference between her and the Rhaenyra, as they were both sleeping with the wrong men and/or women.
But Alicent’s behavior is even worse, as she had to steal her friend’s dad and also sleep with her estranged loser boyfriend. Who does that? Then she crowns it up by putting her dumbass son on the throne. Now, we might see some redemption curve in the coming episodes, but that doesn’t change the fact that she’s an annoying character.
Rhaenyra Targaryen
What kind of Targaryen allows her bloodline to be stepped on in such a way as Rhaenyra has done? As a matter of fact, we suggest that she should be stripped of the name and told to bear her husband’s. Which of them though?
Anyway, we have usually heard of a mother’s revenge, but then how do you fumble that one job. Her kid was killed and it’s taken her forever to rain down fire on Westeros! We all expected that by the first episode, she should have been setting everywhere on fire but instead she’s suing for dialogue. This is where Daenerys Targaryen would have flipped and burnt down the whole world. But no, she’s playing “WHO” and sending food to the people.
Ser Criston Cole
If there was a need to have the human version of the word annoying, then we offer Criston Cole as a humble sacrifice. This guy is an epitome of one who quite lacks the game, because how do you fumble two Queens?
Let’s even leave that aside, the fact that he started to hate on Rhaenyra because she wouldn’t leave her wealthy lifestyle is rather hilarious. Would he have left a lavish lifestyle to go and live in obscurity in Pentos, if the roles were reversed? No! But then he decided to tear the kingdom apart so he can get back at his “first love”. Man, it was just a couple night stand, so get a grip and get his bag up so he can chill when he retires.
