Former US president Donald Trump has lashed out at Prince Harry, accusing the duke of betraying the late Queen, saying he would have left the young prince to bear the brunt of his action if he had still been the president.

While giving his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Saturday near Washington DC, Trump gave his honest thoughts about Prince Harry, saying, "I wouldn't protect him. He has betrayed the Queen, and that's an unforgivable offence. He would have been left to face the consequences alone if it was down to me."

Donald Trump expressed that the Joe Biden administration has been too lenient with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after they relocated to the US in 2020.

Royal journalist Robert Hardman recently published a new autobiography which revealed that the late Queen Elizabeth never approved of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle naming their daughter Lilibet.

It was reported that the Queen was displeased when the couple claimed that she had approved the name, which was not the case.

According to the book, the late queen was as furious as anyone had seen her after the couple asserted that she was supportive of the name.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry stated in his book 'Spare'  that he had taken marijuana, cocaine, and psychedelic mushrooms when he was younger.

He wrote: "I noticed that the cocaine didn't do much for me but the marijuana hits differently, that did help me."

For foreigners who wish to enter the United States, disclosing past criminal activity like drug abuse can be a challenging issue.

As a result, President Trump noted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's immigration case has been complicated.

The couple may have been unable to obtain legal entry into the country due to Prince Harry's admission of drug use during his younger years.

The lawsuit filed by the US Heritage Foundation asserts that a person with certain characteristics should not be allowed to enter the country.

However, the lawyer at the Department of Homeland Security presented a different perspective, arguing that just the mere words written in a book do not provide a strong enough basis for proof or conviction.

Prince Harry's lawyer further buttressed that the words stated in the book might just be embellished to sell the book, and saying something in a book does not mean it's the truth.

After Prince Harry's royal split from his family in 2020, the duke relocated to the US together with his wife, Meghan Markle, and two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, taking a step back from being a senior member of the family.

However, the news revealed that the prince might return to being a working royal as he misses his home.

The 39-year-old prince has been visiting his childhood home frequently, reminding the world of his roots.
