A drone tester recently had a bizarre experience during a recent test flight over Porterville, California. This has got the UFO community all worked up and talking about it.
On December 17, 2023, this tester saw a strange black UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon) orb with a clear green-yellow neon marking on one side. Crazy, right?
One of the witnesses, Scott C. Waring, who used his DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine to record the event, shared his story on Reddit. Waring said that after buying the new drone from Best Buy in Visalia, California, on December 16, 2023, he was practising flying it.
On December 17, 2023, a black dot coming down from the clouds caught his eye as he practised flying. Waring quickly pointed the camera on his drone at the strange object and started recording.
"...On Saturday December 16, 2023. I went back to Porterville, CA and I started practicing on Sunday December 17, 2023 with my new drone when suddenly I saw a black dot dropping from the sky. So I decided to focus the drone camera towards the sphere object and I started following it as I was getting closer. I zoomed in to 7X optical zoom to conserved the quality video but then later on I zoom in to 28x digital zoom in the river. Then I was trying to rotate without losing the object but it was really hard because I’m new at flying drones and I tried my best I could do," the eyewitness explained on Reddit.
The video, which was posted as a Google Drive video file, shows the mysterious black ball with a neon green-yellow color on one side.
Waring used the optical and digital zooms on his drone camera to keep his attention on the unidentified object.
This gave him a clear view of the orb as it floated over a river. The witness's struggle to follow and take a picture of the object while the drone was turning gave the encounter more realism.
When Waring and other UFO fans looked closely at the video, they saw that the black UAP orb seemed to have features that set it apart from regular drones or military planes.
The green-yellow neon color made people wonder where it came from and what it was used for.
One popular theory in the UFO community says that there might be a link to top-secret military drone technology. Waring thinks that the black UAP orb might be a highly secret drone made by the US military that was made to be used in war zones.
Talking about a radar-resistant coating like the ones on B1 and B2 bombers makes things even more interesting because it makes us think that the plane might have advanced stealth capabilities.
